FAQs
Where is your venue, and how in the world does one get there?
The Lodge At Fall City Farms is located at 3309 Neal Road SE in Fall City, Washington. This is about a 30-minute drive from Seattle, accessible via I-90 East. There’s plenty of on-site parking, but for out-of-towners (or locals who just don’t want to drive), we’ll be offering a shuttle service departing from and returning to Downtown Seattle.
(UPDATED SHUTTLE INFO CAN NOW BE FOUND AT OUR BRAND NEW SHUTTLE PAGE, and it will also be emailed to folks who were interested! But the short of it is this: meet at The Hyatt Regency Downtown Seattle at 3pm.)
Do you two lovebirds have a hotel block?
We don’t! There are many hotels around Downtown Seattle, so we figured that you should choose the hotel (or AirBnb) that best fits your wants and needs. We can, however, make recommendations:
Hyatt At Olive 8, Hyatt Regency, and The Grand Hyatt are all great options close to each other, and most importantly, close to tasty breakfast (Mr. West) and even better coffee (Anchorhead Coffee Co.).
What time does this thing start and end?
We’ll seal the deal at 4:30pm. Then, all that’s left to do is eat, drink, dance, and vibe until 11pm.
Can I bring my kids?
We love your children. However, our wedding is an adults-only event—we appreciate your understanding.
What about a +1 ?
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate the number of guests listed on your invitation.
Is there a dress code?
This party is a decade and a half in the making, so we’ll be encouraging a Black Tie Optional dress code. But that doesn’t mean stuffy—don’t be afraid to have fun with your style. Temperatures in Western Washington can range anywhere from 70 to 85 degrees during the hottest part of the day, though summer nights in the Pacific Northwest tend to be a bit chillier. Note that The Lodge has air conditioning inside, outdoor dining areas will be covered, and a heads-up for heel-wearers—our venue has grass and gravel.
Oh yeah, and please refrain from wearing white. Super nit-picky, we know.
Will there be an open bar?
…Is our cat named Taquito? We’ll be hosting a full open bar, including cocktails, wine, beer, and a plethora of zero-proof options.
Gifts?
After living together for nearly ten years, we have every appliance and piece of dinnerware covered, even down to the random stuff like a potato masher and those little silicone mold things that make your fried egg a perfect circle in the pan. If you do feel inclined to give a gift, we're excited to save for our dream home and honeymoon!
What’s happening to Aimee’s last name?
Aimee loves a hyphen—Infatuation friends, you know this to be true—so she’ll be known henceforth as Aimee Rizzo-Hennessy.
Can I ask the DJ to play “Sweet Caroline?”
No.
Please?
No.
